This annual evet took place on 19th October, 2025 at St Joseph's Cathedral, Ngong, a fitting venue as this Cathedral bears the name of the Patron Saint of CMA.

Before the mass started at 10am, there was a talk on cancer awareness and  a medical checkup had been organized up to 5pm for all men.

The main celebrant was His Lordship the Bishop of Ngong Diocese, Rt Rev John Oballa Owaa in the presence of many other priests who had accompanied their men from their parishes.

In his homily, the Bishop thanked men for having the largest attendance for the Diocesan men Mass yet

He also brought out the fact that we were incidentally celebrating the feast of St Luke who wrote the gospel of St Luke and the Acts of the Apostles. He was a Greek who was born in Antioch.

Men are called to be missionaries. There are people in our lives who do not want to be involved in religious activities, however we are called to remind them. that is our duty, he said. "we have been sent, like the seventy two that Jesus sent,  like sheep among wolves". Our strength is our humility.

We must also pray for conversions of Christians. The Lord is telling us to pray as Jesus prayed for us. We must do the same. "In your current situation have you used your talents wisdom, skills and strength for God's work?" he asked. "Are you friends of God? It is important to be so" he reiterated.

He went on to say that we should shoulder one another as Jesus had done by sending his followers two by two for support. " He will not abandon us. god does his work through others". We are called to walk with each other in the journey of faith and walk in the steps of St Luke as in the first reading. We are called to sow the seeds of mission of hope in other peoples lives.

In his short address, the Diocesan Chairman asked men to persuade the younger men to join, try to raise the economic value of men in their parish, encourage members to induce others to join in their Small Christian Communities. He asked men to be agents to to inform about this website.

The Diocesan Chaplain also asked men to join together to mutually raise their fellow men's welfare spiritually, socially and economically. He also asked that they make the CMA group one that evangelizes. He also thanked the Bishop for walking with us every time he was available.

As was the tradition, gifts given to the clergy, and also a gift to the Bishops mother.
