The venue for this annual event was Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos, and the date was 16th August, 2025, where the ceremony started promptly at 10am.

This was the 20th National Prayer Day celebrated and this was the twenty fifth, or Jubilee year since CMA was inaugurated in Kenya.

Main celebrant was Rt Rev Joseph Mwongela, the Bishop of Kitui who also is the KCCB Pastoral Coordinator. Also in attendance as the host was the Bishop of Machakos Rt Rev Norman Wambua among many other clergy.

Attendance was arguably the best ever recorded for men where an estimated sixteen thousand congregants registered their presence and filled the stadium.

In his homily the bishop asked men to stand up and be counted and that they should not be cowed but speak up or what is right and take their place, in the society, church and especially in their homes.

The Mass finished promptly at 1.00pm, after which the host Bishop gave a further talk where he asked men, among other things, to see what they could do about the boy child, who was always in danger becoming a victim of many vices." It takes a man to correct anther man" he said and requested that we must guide, motivate and counsel our young men if there expect our homes, churches, society and country to grow in the right way, that is God's way.

The day ended with a light shower that was a blessing for the occasion.
