Election of leaders in our various groups and associations kicked off in February, 2023, following postponement for one year. This was in order to avoid clash with National Elections and as directed by the Kenya Council of Catholic Bishops (KCCB).
Not only were elections carried out in our Diocese but for the first time was synchronized in all Dioceses in the country.
Men from all five Ngong Diocese Deaneries gathered at St Joseph's Cathedral, Ngong for their annual event on 15th October, 2022.
The main celebrant was His Lordship, Rt Reverend John Oballa Owaa, the Bishop of Ngong Diocese.
The Annual General Assembly (AGA) for the diocese was successfully held from 25th to 26th February, 2022, at Watakatifu Wote Senta (WWS), Ngong.
This event brings together leaders from all corners of the diocese, which covers Kajiado and Narok Counties, with the aim of sharing successes, differences challenges and possible solutions. Delegates also chart a way forward for the coming year and future for the betterment of spirituality and welfare of men, and of the church at large.
This event was held on the 5th of October, 2019 at Subukia shrine.
It was open to all church groups and therefore there was quite a crowd.
